The Green Bay Packers couldn’t take care of business against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.
However, that wasn’t on their quarterback.
If anything, Jordan Love had one of the best games of his career and made franchise history in the tie.
He became the first Packers quarterback with at least 30 completions, 300 passing yards, 25 rushing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in a game.

Love has gotten his fair share of criticism since he took over for Aaron Rodgers as the starter, and while he’s earned some of it, he should also get the credit he deserves for the way he’s played this season.
While it’s too early in his career to say he will be the next Hall of Fame Packers quarterback, he’s playing at an MVP level, numbers-wise.
If he keeps it up, he will finish the season with more than 4,000 passing yards and more than 30 touchdown passes.
More importantly, he’s taking better care of the football, which is something that has been a recurring issue for him in the earlier stages of his career.
This may be a make-or-break season for Love and his long-term future.
The Packers have Super Bowl aspirations, and their fans will be very disappointed if they don’t satisfy that goal.
But judging by the first four games, the Packers are doing the right thing by counting on Love to be the face of the franchise.
