The hockey season is well underway in the KHL in Russia and on Wednesday, fans got to see the first goalie fight of the year in a lengthy video that is now going viral.
The KHL shared the footage of goalies Andrei Mishurov and Adam Huska exchanging bombs in a fight at center ice.
Mishurov, who plays for the Omsk Avangard, skated stright to Vladivostok Admiral’s Huska, who was more than ready for him.
For more than a minute, both netminders scrapped and landed some heavy shots on their opponent.
This is the entire fight as shared in a video by the KHL:

You can understand why it is going viral, especially with the Russian play by play with the announcers stunned by the ongoing fight.
Huska is also a seventh round pick, 184th overall by the New York Rangers back in 2015, but only played one NHL contest for them before continuing his career overseas.

As for Mishurov, he was never drafted in the NHL and has always played out of Russia.
But his fight with Huska is now taking him all around the world.
